Obscura (experience): Wiped Out! by The Neighbourhood - 9:30pm

In 2015, The Neighbourhood released Wiped Out!, their second studio album and one of the most atmospheric and introspective records in their catalogue. Blending alternative rock, indie, and R&B influences, the album explores love, loss, nostalgia, and the uncertainty of growing up, all through a distinctly melancholic, California-inspired sound.

Across tracks like “Cry Baby,” “Daddy Issues,” and “R.I.P. 2 My Youth,” hazy guitars, hypnotic rhythms, and Jesse Rutherford’s intimate vocals create a dark, dreamlike atmosphere that feels both nostalgic and cinematic.

Obscura (experience) is an immersive listening experience presented by Ic3y Mag and Qobuz, where full-length albums are experienced in surround sound and complete darkness.

Hosted inside a cinema, the format removes visual distractions and places the entire focus on sound.

Eye masks are provided. Phones away. No talking. One album, from beginning to end.

Presented by Qobuz.
