Obscura (experience): Kid A by Radiohead - 9:30pm

In 2000, Radiohead released Kid A, a radical departure from the guitar-driven sound that had defined the band. Electronic textures, ambient music, jazz, distorted vocals and fragmented rhythms replaced conventional rock structures, resulting in an album that still feels strangely futuristic more than 25 years later.

From the opening notes of “Everything in Its Right Place” to the weightless atmosphere of “How to Disappear Completely” and the intensity of “Idioteque,” Kid A unfolds less like a collection of songs and more like a world of its own.

Obscura (experience) is an immersive listening experience presented by Ic3y Mag and Qobuz, where full-length albums are experienced in surround sound and complete darkness.

Hosted inside a cinema, the format removes visual distractions and places the entire focus on sound, revealing details, textures and spatial elements that can disappear in everyday listening.
